Several important parameters when selecting MOS transistors — SUNMATE
Several important parameters when selecting MOS transistors
1. Load current IL. It directly determines the output capability of MOSFETs;
2. Input output voltage. It is limited by the MOSFET load duty cycle;
3. MOS switching frequency FS. This parameter affects the instantaneous dissipated power of MOSFET switches;
4. Maximum allowable operating temperature of MOSFET. This needs to meet the system's designated reliability objectives.
The effect of. It is also possible to use surface mounted MOSFETs to achieve the same effect.
3 MOSFET combinations. If the space on the board allows, sometimes two devices with higher RDSON can be connected in parallel to achieve the same operating temperature and lower cost.
