SUNMATE rectifier diode selection
Rectifier diode refers to a semiconductor device used to convert alternating current into direct current. Usually it contains a PN junction with two terminals, anode and cathode.
Selection of rectifier diode:
Rectifier diodes are generally planar silicon diodes, which are used in various power rectifier circuits.
When selecting rectifier diodes, the maximum rectifier current, maximum reverse working current, cut-off frequency, reverse recovery time and other parameters shall be considered.
The rectifier diode used in the ordinary series regulated power supply circuit does not have high requirements for the reverse recovery time of the cut-off frequency. As long as the rectifier diode with the maximum rectifier current and the maximum reverse working current meets the requirements can be selected according to the requirements of the circuit.
Rectifier diodes used in the rectifier circuit and pulse rectifier circuit of switching regulated power supply shall be rectifier diodes with high working frequency and short reverse recovery time or fast recovery diodes. There is also a Schottky rectifier diode.
