Judgment of Schottky diode positive and negative electrodes
How to use Schottky diode, and how to judge the positive and negative poles of Schottky diode?
Firstly, check the symbol symbols. On the surface of Schottky diode, the symbol of diode is generally marked. The positive pole is represented by a triangle arrow symbol, and the other end is the negative pole.
Secondly, check the component color dots. On the shell of point contact Schottky diode, there are generally polar color dots (white or red). One end of the ordinary colored point is the positive electrode. Other diodes are marked with colored rings, and the end with colored rings is negative.
Based on the measurement with a relatively small resistance value, the end connected by the black probe is the positive electrode, and the end connected by the red probe is the negative electrode.
