Difference between bridge stack and rectifier bridge
Bridge stack is an electronic component, which refers to the rectifier device assembled by the rectifier element according to the bridge connection method. Of course, the bridge stack is not all the same. The bridge stack composed of two rectifier diodes is called half bridge, and the bridge stack composed of four rectifier diodes is called full bridge. Then, is the bridge stack a rectifier bridge, and what is the difference between the bridge stack and the rectifier bridge? Let's have a look!
I. is the bridge stack a rectifier bridge
There is basically no difference between bridge pile and rectifier bridge.
Bridge pile: it is internally composed of multiple diodes. The main function is to rectify and adjust the current direction. It is better to use bridge stack for rectification. First of all, it is very convenient, and the four tubes inside it are generally selected and matched, so their performance is relatively close. In addition, when rectifying with high power, heat dissipation blocks can be installed on the bridge stack to make the performance more stable during operation. Of course, different bridge stacks should be selected for different applications, and we can't just look at whether the withstand voltage is enough, such as high-frequency characteristics.
Rectifier bridge: the rectifier tube is sealed in a shell, which is divided into full bridge and half bridge. The full bridge is to seal the four diodes of the connected bridge rectifier circuit together. Half bridge is to seal one half of two diode bridge rectifiers together. Two half bridges can form a bridge rectifying circuit, and one half bridge can also form a transformer full wave rectifying circuit with central tap. The rectifier circuit and working voltage should be considered when selecting the rectifier bridge.
2、 Difference between bridge stack and rectifier bridge
Rectifier bridge refers more to the circuit built by diodes, and bridge stack is the integration of four diodes together, which can be directly used as a rectifier bridge. The full name of rectifier bridge and bridge pile is rectifier bridge pile. Some people call rectifier bridge or bridge pile the same.
